It was a beautiful warm and breezy day at Farmstead on Saturday, May 11, 2008. The day before Mothers Day and all the boys where out to prove who belong. Another competitive round is in the books and our guest member for Michigan, Bob Hansen, took the crown at Farmstead with a gross 77, net 66. One shot ahead the every steady Gene Falls's gross 89, net 67. In thrid with his best effort of the year was Chris Gibson with a net 68,, Tied for 4th/5th was Wayne Rhodes and Bill Michel's 69. In a 6 way tie for 6th was: Pat Jones, Wayne Darnell, Bob Tomassetti, Mac Daniels, Tim Tarlton and Paul Leckie.
Round 2 Match Play Results:
Rhodes over Darnell 2 Up, Foligno 2 & 1 over Woodall, O'Brien 1 up over Spivey, Falls 4 & 2 over Conti, Leckie 3 & 2 over Meetze, and Jones 2 & 1 over Daniels. Earlier it was Wims 5 & 3 over Hathaway.
