Who we are:
Local golfers in the Coastal Carolina area looking to play competitive golf events, on weekends at reasonable rates with prize funds in accordance with the USGA amateur rules of golf. All tournaments will follow USGA rules and regulations including handicapping.
Where we play:
All tournaments will be held at one of the 100+ golf courses within the area known as the Grand Strand. The area extends from the Shallotte, North Carolina down through Pawleys Island of the Myrtle Beach area.
Tournament Formats:
Events will be a mixture of formats. (25% of the field will receive a prize/award)
Net Stroke Play (all players playing to full USGA index)
Special Events, like 2 Person Team event, Match Play may also be scheduled. See Events Page.

Tees Played From (Basic Alignment - Variations on Request)
In general Men will play the set tee's within the range of 6000 - 6500 yards and Females will play the tee's within the range of 5000-5800 yards.
Players may request to an Alternate set of tees if the member meets the club criteria for
playing those tees (AGE and/or Index requirement)

Guests:
Non-Members are welcome to play in CCAGC events with a additional payment of 10.00 per event in addition to the stated Costs listed on the event pages. Guests must have a current USGA handicap and sign up for an event a miniumum of 2 weeks in advance. Event entries are limited and are filled on the first paid basis.

Schedule:
Events will commence with the first event in February and have 1-2 events scheduled per month through October.
League Awards:
The club will award a trophy for the overall winner of each event. The Club will crown a club champion with a trophy for the most points earned during the season. Points are earned based upon the order of finish in each event. The number of points the winner will get will be determined by the number of players in the event plus bonus points for a top 4 finish. Players will also earn points as a Flight Winner if his/her flight has at least 5 players in it.
SPECIAL PRIZES:
Club Champion iwill receive a beautiful Silver Cup Trophy along with a share of the Club Championship prize pool.
The member with the most club championship points at the end of the regular season will win the free entry to the following year's World AM Hdcp Championship as long as that prize is donated/sponsered by Golf Holiday.
The club will have 2, 50% Discount for World Am Entry fee to use, one for the current World Am and one for the following year's World Am, as long as those prizes are donated/sponsored by Golf Holiday.
The discount for the current year World Am will be awarded to the winner of a special match (low net) between the top 4 in club championship points as of July 31st. The top 4 will be paired together at the next ccagc event after July 31st to determine the winner of the prize.
The discount for the following year's World Am will be given away during a drawing at the Annual World Am Kickoff event on the Saturday preceeding the World Am Handicap Championship.
