2010 CCAGC Annual Membership Meeting Recap
Want to thank the 29 players / members that attended the 2010 Membership Meeting. While we have lost 5 playing members from the 2009 season we have gained 5 new members and one previous member is back with us in 2010.
Want to welcome are new members: Dan Colomb and Micky Calderiso, both referrals from Chris Gibson, Justin Riker who is Rick Riker's son, Troy Dowling, a collegue of Bob Tomassetti and John Adams , referred to us by Jum Smiley. Returning to the group after a year off is Ziggy Hathaway.
We have interest from another 4 to 6 players are that considering membership for the 2010 season.
Here is a recap of the major items that were reviewed and put in place for the 2010 Season.
* Any player can request to Play the Senior Tee's as long as the White tee's are greater than 6000 yards
* The use of Senior Tee's and the corresponding hdcp adjustment will be on a trial basis for the 1st 4
events to determine if there is any competitive balance issues.
* Slow Play Process and Policy approved with all players getting 1 WARNING before a penalty is
assessed.
* All Players must check-in on the day of the event, 15 minutes prior to the 1st tee time.
* No changes to the Local Rules as currently published.
* All players for all events, For determining Net Skins score and DREAM 18 scores, no player may take
more than 1 shot hdcp on any Par 3. Players will receive total hdcp shots to determine their NET Score
for the tournament.
Also during the meeting a number of prizes were given away. All paid members at the time of the meeting were eligible for the 2 main prizes. The winners of those were:
* Bob Hansen, Winner of a Free Event Fee during the 2010 Season.
* Mike Spivey, Winner of Free Golf and Cart for 2 at any Legends Course during Jun-Aug 2010
We also had a number of other prizes for those just in attendance of the meeting and present during the drawing. Those winners were:
* Golf Passports: Rick Riker, Micky Calderiso, Chris Gibson, Mike Sachwald and Troy Dowling
* Legends Hat: Justin Riker
* Legends Towel: Larry Smothers.
Registration is open for all events. We have only 8 spots left for the Leopards Chase and 11 spots open for the Match Play which starts with the 2nd event, Crow Creek on March 6th.
We still have some returning members and new members that have not paid their membership dues for the 2010 season. If you are one of those, please submit your payment.
